The China-Italy Joint Laboratory on Advanced Manufacturing (CI-LAM) CI-LAM represents the main collaboration platform between China & Italy innovation ecosystems in the field of advanced manufacturing.
Founding partners of the CI-LAM are Tsinghua University, the University of Bergamo, the University of Naples – Federico II, Campania Newsteel and China Sci-Tech Automation Alliance. In 2020 SPICI srl and E-Cube have joined the CI-LAM as associated partners.

The fifth edition of the Summer School was launched.
The selection call is now open for students who want to participate in the 5th edition of the Summer School of the Italo 🇮🇹-Chinese 🇨🇳 Project, the result of the academic collaboration between the University of Naples Federico II , the University of Bergamo and Tsinghua University (Beijing) focused on the topics of Advanced Manufacturing.
This year the Summer School is welcoming 59 students from about 20 Italian, Chinese, Norwegian and US universities andis focusing on the following topics: New Material for 3D Printing: Prototyping and Production; Digital Twins and its Industrial Applications; Energy Management for Energy Internet; IoT for 4.0 Industrial Revolutions; Smart Robotics; Open and Distributed Automation System, Novel Power Semiconductor Devices, Equipment and DC grids; Machine Learning in Advanced Manufacturing.
