This educational program follows the first edition of theCI-LAM Summer School launched in 2019, held in Naples from 15th to 28th July, with the participation of 22 students from Tsinghua University, University of Naples Federico II and University of Bergamo, with 6 Laboratories, 85 hours of activities, 6 Teachers, 3 Assistants of Lab, 2 Official Social activities.
The 2020 edition of the CI-LAM Summer School program has been totally digitalised and transformed in an online training, innovation and matchmaking activity.
The Summer School is held twice a week and lasts four weeks starting from mid-July to first week of August 2020. This second edition involves primarily students from University of Bergamo, University of Naples, Tsinghua University but is also enlarged to students from other Italian and Chinese universities. The attendance is limited to a maximum number of 100 students.
Arguments of this programme are on different topics of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation; we focus from the role of the ‘Quantum Communication’, ‘5G Telecommunication control’ to ‘Cybersecurity’, from the ‘Power Electronic Technology’ to ‘Sensing technology’, from ‘Robotics’ and ‘Motion Control’ to ‘Additive manufacturing’.
Each lecture lasts 2 hours. At the end of each lecture, researchers interested on the topic covered in the lesson have the opportunity to discuss in a R&D matchmaking session about possible bilateral joint research cooperation.

At the end of the School the students receive a “Certificate of Attendance”, issued by CI-LAM Academy with the endorsement of the three academic organising institutions.

All the contents are in English.
