Sergio Cavalieri is Rector of the University of Bergamo. He is Full Professor of Operations
Management and his research interests are related to the innovation of management processes of industrial and service companies.
He is president of the U4I Foundation (University for Innovation), former president of the scientific association AIDI (Association of Industrial Mechanical Plant Teachers), coordinator of the innovation table for the manufacturing industry of the National Research Plan 2021-2027, director of the Executive Master in Industrial Asset Management, member of the international scientific associations IFAC-TC 5.1 Advanced Manufacturing Technology and IFIP WG 5.7 on Advances in Production Management Systems.
